In a future timeline, Nolan Morelle was successfully bonded with Project: Sharkskin, saving his life from his terminal skin condition, and also giving him vast nanotech abilities as Warbringer. However, his father's tampering with the timeline destroyed New York City, killing countless innocents, including Nolan's mother.
As Warbringer, Nolan would travel back in time to alter the timeline. He would at first clash with Nightwatch, but they would ultimately work together to save New York.
Later Nightwatch would briefly be mistaken for Warbringer when his armor was evolved to a similar state.
