Volker is first seen in a flashback of Rudolph Brecht ‘s, which saw him present at the first meeting between the Vampire Lord and Rudolph Brecht. Which means that Volker is older than Brecht and Has been in the Vampire Lord’s service longer than him. He is a sadistic character, finding pleasure in pain he has inflicted over the many years. He has little intelligence, but is insanely strong. Strictly loyal to his master, however this is unknown is this is true loyalty or just because it serves his purposes. This loyalty hasn’t gone unnoticed; he has immortality, command of a great army and fear because of it. He also has a flying horse with bat wings that he was gifted with due to his many years of service.
