Comics: Joe Bruce a.k.a. Violent J was a member of the Inner City Posse before they were attacked by a gang hired by the a big city music business. Then next day, after getting their asses kicked, at work they were told to clean some toxic waste tanks. While doing their assigned task, they got locked in the sewers with the tanks by Fat Back Jack. Some time after getting locked in there, the toxic waste begot the Spirit of the Dark Carnival. They were recruited by the spirit to spread the word of the Dark Carnival disguised as Wicked Clownz. That day when that happened, the Inner City Posse died, and born in their place came the Insane Clown Posse.
After that day the Insane Clown Posse have happily explained what the Dark Carnival was about. They've shown many people their true nightmares, while letting the good citizens go. Their main enemy, Killnor, had tried to kill them many times, yet the spirit of the Dark Carni did not let them die. One time, when Shaggs was on his death bed, the Riddle Box would not help them. Because of that, J took Shaggs to a church where they met Jesus Alvian. He restored Shaggy to his full potential and was later recruited to spread the words of the Dark Carnival, which he knew that God was behind the carni.
In the final comic, Jesus was about to die when he prayed for god to help him and his friends in the bowels of the Nethervoid. Killnor was mocking him, when the one did intervene by resurrecting Jesus, along with I.C.P. and Twiztid in the form of the Dark Lotus. After that, they killed all the bad demons in the area around them, then they were all given another chance on Earth.
