Television
Wolverine And The X-Men
Vindaloo's appearance was in episode 6 of Wolverine and the X-Men, although his powers did not ignite on contact with air, and instead, his powers were just described and portrayed as generating sticky goo from his hands.
He was among those mutants that were on board on a ship named Avalon. Suddenly, Spiral and a group of Reavers have attacked the ship. Since no one believes that their powers can work against the villainous team, they became hopeless. Nightcrawler then formed a team of mutants with Squidboy, Network, Shatter, Pixie and Vindaloo.
Vindaloo sustained the sticky goo and let it flow with a hose that Squidboy holds underwater to fix the damage of the ship. After the encounter, he headed to Genosha.
Creation
Vindaloo was created by Fabian Nicieza and Alan Davis in 1999 and first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #366
