Vima-Da-Boda was encountered by Han Solo and Princess Leia on Nar Shaddaa during the events of Dark Empire, Dark Empire II, and Empire's End. When she was first encountered she could sense how strong Leia was in the Force and gave her an ancient Light Saber. Vima later helped save Luke Skywalker from being poisoned and was present when the last Emperor Palpatine clone was killed during the events of Empire's End.
It is believed that Vima was a Jedi Knight during the final years of the Old Republic who was able to survive the Jedi Purge and went int hiding after the rise of the Galactic Empire. She had connections to numerous characters in the Star Wars universe. She was a descendant of ancient Jedi Nomi and Vima Sunrider. It is also believed she was the old woman who first introduced Kyp Durron to the Force while they were both imprisoned on the Spice Mines of Kessel.
