    The demigod Viking was member of the Maximums, a team of heroes than fight Superman and Batman, accusing them for killing one of their own. However, later was revealed than the Maximums were not heroes from another dimension, but the creation of the sick mind of the Joker.

    The Maximums where a tribute/homage to the Marvel's Ultimate Avengers - Viking is the Thor analogue.
