Osborn's Ultimate throw down with Captain America's Ultimates on the White House lawn. Spider-Man stands there in stunned silence. Osborn continues to threaten Spidey's family harm if he doesn't play along. Reluctantly, Spidey attacks Captain America. Cap has a trump up his sleeve, he is able to reassure Spidey that his family is safe in S.H.I.E.L.D. custody, freeing Spidey from Osborns thrall and enabling Spidey turn fight alongside The Ultimates.
The battle is far from won, though. The Ultimates are on the back foot and struggling to deal with the combined powers of Osborn's group. Nick Fury sends in one more ally into the fray who may just be able to stop Osborn's rampage.
