    Tiramolla

Character » Tiramolla appears in 115 issues.

The Italian Plastic-Man, only not quite so serious.

    Short summary describing this character.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

Dropped in a container of rubber as a child Tiramolla became so malleable as a result  that he can stretch  for kilometers as well as take the form of anything.
While always ready to speak out against oppression and harassment Tiramolla has to be prodded into action, so lazy his most prize possession is his very expensive and well appointed bed, and he considers himself to be working at night if gotten up before 11:00 am.

Hot tempered, stubborn, arrogant and often very grumpy he is still fundamentally good and will in the end come to the defense of the innocent wearing his trade mark top hat.

Created by Roberto Renzi and designed by Giorgio Rebuffi in 1952 Tiramolla was one of Italy’s most popular comic strip characters until the 1990.

A much different version of the Tiramolla has recently been introduced by new creators.
