    Short summary describing this volume.

Published by Savoy Services, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Action was a short-lived attempt to launch a new U.K. title. Its lead character was secret agent Jonathan Shatter of the United States of Europe Aerospace Intelligence Agency, but it also featured Wally Wood's T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents, presumably an unauthorised usage. The first issue was a mixture of colour and black and white strips, but from the second issue on all the strips were full colour; similarly, the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents material in the first issue was reprinted from U.S. comics, but, at least in the second issue, they were new tales. All the lettering outwith the reprinted material was typeset.

The title's editor allegedly used his own money to pay Savoy to publish the comic, and misled by the distributors as to demand for the first issue, he switched from monthly to fortnightly publication. With the issues provided to shops on sale or return, the editor lost a lot of money when the returns poured in, and went bankrupt, causing the series to abruptly end after only four issues.
