    Origin

    Very little is known about the Thinking Man. At some point he raised an army and began to wage his war of reason and rationality against the magical and unexplained things in the universe. To this end he led the invasion and destruction of the Summerlands.

    Creation

    The Thinking Man was created by Lilah Sturges and Luca Rossi. He made his first appearance in House of Mystery #14.

    Major Story Arcs

    House of Mystery

    Thinking Man is hired by Ceorel on behalf of the Conception to attack the House of Mystery and capture Fig Keele. He successfully enters the House, but is driven back by Mr Overhill, a dragon, long enough to allow Fig and the House to escape. He returns to his army's holdings, and attempts to hold the Summerlands against the combined forces of the witches and goblins. He is imprisoned by Fig when she escapes captivity, and later executed.

    Powers and Abilities

    The Thinking Man has no known superhuman powers or abilities. He is a ruthlessly rational man, and a skilled leader.

    Weapons and Equipment

    The Thinking Man carries a gun that appears to fire magical bullets, which he uses to fight magical beings. He also carries a sword. He commands legions of robot soldiers, as well as mindworms and various other troops.
