At a flower show, the Tick, Arthur, and American Maid visit the 400 Year Bloom. El Seed attempts to steal it, however, and Arthur is asked to protect the flower. All he has to do is play music so that the flower doesn't do its "bad bloom." Despite Arthur's best efforts, El Seed snags the 400 Year Bloom while the Tick is out on patrol.
El Seed allows the 400 Year Bloom to bloom the bad way and it gets out of control. It grows and begins to rip up the City. Despite El Seed's best efforts, he is unable to stop the heroes from singing to the plant to calm it down. The bloom is reduced to normal size and the bad guys are taken to jail.
