The Lich

Origin

Undead immortal evil villain with a disdain for the living. The Lich King seems to of had originated from the mushroom bomb the created the Land of Ooo. When Finn wished the Lich to never exist the land of Ooo was replaced by the Farm World. In the Farm World time line Simon Petrikov stopped the Mushroom Bomb from hitting so the mutated creatures of Ooo never existed. When Farm World Finn in possession of the Ice King's Crown made the bomb go off the explosion made a pool similar to the Lich Kings Well of Power. When Farm World Jake came in contact with the Well of Power he mutated into a Lich like creature.

In the canon timeline Lich was defeated by the hero Billy as explained in Billy's song. He has fought Finn and Jake on more than one occasion, and once even possessed Princess Bubblegum.

Creation

The Lich first appeared as a cartoon character on the Cartoon Network animated television show Adventure Time with Finn and Jake, he was created by Pendleton Ward, show creator. His first appearance in comics was in Adventure Time, his appearance here penned by Ryan North with art by Shelli Paroline and Braden Lamb. He was the main antagonist for the first story arc. On the animated show he is voiced by Ron Perlman.

Powers and Abilities

Immortality: The Lich cann't die and has lived for over a thousand years.

Unholy Powers/Dark Magic: The Lich has a several unholy powers, such as:

• Mind Control: The Lich can control people's minds, either through telepathy or spoken commands.
• Telepathy: He can get inside people's mind.
• Rot Inducement: Wherever he walks, if there is life it will rot.
• Possesion: He has the ability to possess other people, usually to escape from death.
• Flight
• Death Inducement: He can kill anyone he touches at will .
• Disintegration Touch: When he touched Billy's gauntlet, this one turned into dust.
• Necromancy
• Pyrokinesis: When possessing Princess Bubblegum, he shows powers of pyrokinesis.
• Green Fire Generation: The Liche can summon green fire from his hands to use against his oponents.

The Lich gets his power by drinking from his Well of Power, a noxious, magic pool of glowing green liquid. He can also usa a mixture of toxic chemicals such as gasoline, lighter fluid, bleach, and plutonium as well.
