    Notes:

Black Hand continues to give the Green Lanterns trouble, until Kilowog takes matters into his own hands. Meanwhile, Hal and Arisia grow closer.

Hal and Arisa awake at the bottom of a mine shaft that Black Hand had thrown them down after attacking the pair with his Power Rod. They discuss the fact that they are alive because although Black Hand's Power Rod stole the rings power it gained from the power battery, it could not steal the "Final Safeguard" the power inside the ring meant to stop Green Lantern sudden death. Then Hal realizes that Arias has grown into a full-grown woman, which freaks her out, she screams, and Hal needs to calm her down.

While in the shaft, Arisa explains that subconsciously she always wanted to be older so Hal would love her like she loves him, and that is why the ring made her age into an adult woman. Hal explains he doesn't love her and every woman he has loved has been worse off for it. They then discuss trying to escape but realize without their rings powered they would be wandering in the dark and could get hurt or worse.

Just after sundown they hear a growl and are confronted by a mountain lion, which Hal tries to fight, unsuccessfully. Arias comes to his rescue and fights off the hungry cat.

Meanwhile, in the Green Lantern Citadel, John Stewart and his band of remaining Green Lanterns on Earth, discuss trying to find Hal and Arisa, but are interrupted by Tawny Yung and her news crew. This angers Kilowog who decks the reporter, which causes her to flee. Then they get an alert that Black Hand is robbing a bank.

When they confront Black Hand, he has more power than before and brags that it is because he defeated Hal and Arias. He then starts draining their power rings which causes them to retreat and regroup.

Later when Black Hand attacks the California Angels vs the Oakland As baseball game, only Kilowog attacks the villain. Black Hand tries to drain his power ring, but Kilowog doesn't use his ring and instead attacks physically. This tactic defeats Black Hand, and he is forced to tell where Hal and Arias are trapped.

The team rushes off to save Hal and Arias but when they find them the pair are in a deep kissing embrace.
