    In a recent movie review I mentioned Ray Harryhaussen, the guru of special effects, so I thought it would be fun to go back and watch one of his early films. While not directly based on a comic, the Sinbad series was definitely a comic book like take on the legendary hero, and should appeal to comic fans young and old (as a matter of fact, I saw a glowing review of this very film an issue of Monsters Unleashed that I reviewed here several months ago).  To get the appeal of these films you have t...
