    The original Captain Boomerang returns as BRIGHTEST DAY continues. Meanwhile, Barry must prove his innocence to the Renegades, cops from the 25th century. Discover what connection they have to the Rogues and what travesties have occurred in the future.

    Captain Boomerang and the Flash discuss the Renegades. Boomerang causes a police helicopter to crash but the Flash saves the pilots. The Renegades want to arrest Boomerang too but he attacks them with his new weapons. Flash catches the weapons and lets them explode in safety to protect everyone.

    Top thinks something is wrong about their mission and thinks Flash saving them means something. Heatstroke wants to stick to their rules and not interfer with the past. Top goes to talk to Flash and tells him that he will kill Iris in the future, so that he won't do it.

    Iris finds something in the evidence that Barry took while Singh notices that the file is missing.

    Top tells Barry that the Rogues plan an attack on him with a weapon they can't control. The Mirror Lords will take possession of Iris, turning her into the Mirror Mistress and Barry will have to kill her. Top tells him that he just has to attack the Rogues before they get a chance to get to him.

    Heatstroke tells Commander Cold about Top breaking the law. Before they can do something, Captain Cold arrives with the dangerous weapon.

    Story: The story starts off with the Rogues watching Boomerang's every move on tv. Boomerang is fighting Barry and causes a dstraction by throwing boomerangs at a helicopter. Barry runs up to save the passengers and they remain unscathed. The Flash decieds to team up with the Renegades to take down Digger. Top knows that Flash would never do something like murder someone and he decides to tell him about the future so he can prevent it. Top tells him that Mirror Master has come up with a weapon h...

    As a new fan of The Flash from this series I can say that I have consistently loved every issue since making an off the cuff decision a couple of months ago, and this weeks was no exception.  This issue opens with The Flash battling his old foe Captain Boomerang whilst trying to hold off the time travelling Renegade police force. Its action packed from the kick off with a daring helicopter rescue and an uneasy alliance with the future force. The Minority Report-esq plot that has started to unfol...

    I was never a big fan of The Flash,unless you're talking Justice League in which he's one of my favorite characters in that roster, and Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe in which he was the easiest character to use in the game. But a solo series of Flash? Eh, I dunno didn't catch my interest... Now after reading Flash:Rebirth, I gotta say I don't know what to expect out this character because that Hardcover was simply A-mazing! Then a few die hard Flash friends we're talking on how amazing issue #4 ...
