    Review: The Flash #3 0

    The Flash meets Hot Pursuit AKA Barry Allen from a parallel dimension. Why is he here? What does he want? Why is Barry such a jerk to Bart?The Good I love Francis Manapul's art sooooo (some extra "o"s to declare the importance of this statement) much. It seems he's changed up his style a bit. I've been noticing heavier inking lines on the outside of the characters, which I don't remember being there before. So, I've already established that the art is super-duper awesome, but how's the story? We...

    A little slow paced for a comic about a speedster 0

    Cover I really love the art for the cover. Francis Manapul is one of my favorite artists and he did a great job with the cover. Also liked the concept of the cover with Flash, Kid Flash, and Hot Pursuit. Story Hot Pursuit warns Barry Allen that there are different parallel worlds and someone is trying to change them and if they are changed Bart may disappear forever. But Hot Pursuit does not want any help so he rides away. Barry then goes to lab because he got a hair sample of Hot Pursuit t...

    The Cover's Wally-Teasing Does Not Amuse 0

    The Flash title goes on a leisurely stroll down the road to Flashpoint. There is virtually nothing in the way of plot progression, but this issue does feature pages of entertaining art and the introduction of a new supporting cast member in Barry Allen's CSI family.From the cliffhanger last issue revealing Hot Pursuit is Barry Allen, it was clear that Hot Pursuit was probably headed for disappointment rather than being an exciting new member of the Flash family.
