    Origin

At the dawn of time, Primus created new life, the 13 original Transformers, to crew his planetary form into battle against his eternal nemesis Unicron. One of these 13, his original name now lost to the mists of time, turned against his siblings, his creator, and his universe, and betrayed them all. As Vector Prime was constructed to safeguard Space/Time, this robot's function was to oversee the primal force of entropy, the aging and dissolution of order in this universe as presage to a new creation. However, this guardian of entropy became obsessed with the darker side of chaos and death, and in the black place these urges led him, the traitor found a new god, more suited to his nature. He turned against Primus and became The Fallen. Now he is a being of power, darkness, and absolute dedication to Unicron. At the end of the first battle between the two Gods, for his treachery, The Fallen was sealed into extradimensional limbo along with his new master.

    The Fallen Returns

Approximately 7 million years ago, Optimus Prime and Megatron were lost in a space bridge accident. This accident weakened the barrier between reality and the dimension in which The Fallen was trapped, allowing The Fallen to eventually break free and return to Cybertron. He was intent on initiating "The Unbinding," which would break the Seal of Primus and herald the Second Coming of Unicron. To accomplish this task, he recruited a trio of Decepticon outcasts, Bludgeon, Mindwipe, and Bugly, who hungered for a command of the occult, which The Fallen could grant. As per The Fallen's instructions, the recruits were to round up four Transformers with "unique Sparks," Hot Spot, Jetfire, Blitzwing, and Grimlock. When the recruits faltered, The Fallen stepped in, singlehandedly abducting Blitzwing from his well-guarded holding cell and besting the powerhouse Grimlock. The four, dubbed enigmatically the "Angels of Dissolution," awakened strapped to a four-paneled apparatus deep within the core of Cybertron, the Well of All Sparks. Though a combined army of forces from several factions penetrated The Fallen's operation, his defeat came only when Primus was roused from his slumber and condemned his wayward creation to an explosive demise.

The Fallen believed he was chosen by the Allspark and would seek for whatever it craved and to this end he was given command of an armada to find suns to harvest to continue giving it power. He was also told by the Allspark to never speak of this covenant of harvesting suns to anyone and that one day he would have to stand alone and he followed this, even though he didn’t fully understand it. One day, the dynasty of Primes makes a pact to not destroy any star which supports a planet with life but the Fallen ignores it completely and heads to a system where the star is about to be harvested by Jetfire. After the sun is harvested, he and Jetfire meet at the chamber of the Dynasty of Primes where they are denounced for destroying the solar system without any regards for the life that was lost, and it was decided that in the future a full congress of the dynasty must precede the activation of any star harvester. Despite this, the Fallen went to a world which was filled with life and built his own star harvester and his own matrix to activate it but the design was flawed and the harvester explodes, damaging him, and he blamed the dynasty for driving him to do what he did. Afterwards, he began traveling to other worlds, assimilating science, weapons, and other ways of waging war while killing many and leaving planets ravaged. When he feels he is prepared, he creates a group of followers called “Decepticons” , which includes Jetfire and some Constructicons, and goes to Earth where they begin building a star harvester. However, while constructing the harvester, humans are discovered and Jetfire begins to protest against him. The Fallen then declares that he plans to take the dynasty down on that planet and that if they want to stop him they have to face him themselves. Shortly afterwards, the dynasty of Primes appear and the Fallen teleports Jetfire and the Constructicons to fight elsewhere while he faces off with the other Primes. With the assistance of the weapons and technology he acquired from other planets, the Fallen kills all but one of the Primes. This last Prime continues to teleport around while the Fallen follows after him, thinking he’s a coward but in reality this Prime was gathering the entirety of the lifeforce of the other Primes and uses this power to seal the Fallen into a sarcophagus and buries it deep within Cybertron.
