The Kree Sentry arrives on Earth and explains his mission. He fights off the Avengers one by one and takes Captain Marvell away. They plan to follow the Sentry and take Carol Danvers with them.
On their way, Rick Jones tells them about the Kree what he knows. The Kree created the Inhumans and fought the Fantastic Four and Marvell was once a spy, then banished to the Negative Zone. Rick feels guilty and the Vision consoles him.
They get a call from Goliath that Wasp is in trouble and head off to Alaska to help her. Janet and Hank found a jungle in the middle of the Arctic Circle and were attacked when they wanted to find out more. Goliath does not want to wait for the others and heads into the jungle. He is attacked by apes and by Ronan.
The other Avengers arrive and are attacked by a mind-controlled Goliath. Ronan explains his plan to reverse Earth back to its original state to stop the humans from developing too much. That's what he did with Hank Pym, transforming him into a savage Neanderthal.
