Alec and Abby bring the fight to Sethe's chosen servant in the blood-slicked slaughterhouses of west Texas! But while the battle is joined in America, the war may already be lost in the jungles of Brazil, as danger approaches for the Parliament of Trees…

Deep in the jungles of Brazil a man and his guide walk into a sacred part of the jungle. They are met by local tribesmen of the Terena who ask them to prove that they are reverent men lest they be killed. The man complies by taking off his shirt; this act is a trap. When he opens his shirt we see flies and rot and realize this man is a messenger of Sethe to attack the Parliament of Trees directly in their sacred grove.

Back in Texas Abby and Alec are in a small store looking for supplies. When they exit they are met by William who has brought an entire hoard of undead things from the towns slaughterhouse. They are attacked but retaliate with force and trap William in a tree. Alec and Abby bandage themselves up when William goes hysterical. Through his cheering he tells them that the Rot has won. We are sent back to Brazil where the messenger has found the sacred grove and is now attacking the Parliament physically. Alec grows weak.

I’ve said this a hundred times this is a great series it is consistent with both art and story and every one should try it out if not buy it is worth it but kids should stay away some of the scenes are horrific. I was really looking forward to reading this as the last issue was the best so far so I hoped this could match it.PlotAbby and Alec have stopped in a town to pick up food they walk out of the shop and are attacked by William Arcane. A professor enters a jungle in Brazil and it turns out ...

Ok, so, I want you to do something for me. Take a look at the cover, mentally block out Alex Holland from the image, and what do you get? Angry Birds In Reverse! The Angry Pig has come to wreak vengeance on the birds! Ha!Ok enough of that. Yannick Paquette has been killing it with these cover, and this one is no exception. Powerful, psychotic, and a little bit beautiful if only because of the bottom border. This issue puts me in a precarious position. The amount of times in which I've enjoyed any...

Scott Snyder can go to dark places; and he has for the past four issues of Swamp Thing. Now he and Yanick Paquette are adding another chapter in this amazing series. Does it keep up the story?  THE GOOD: I really love the art. Yanick Paquette knows how to draw and I'm glad that he is on Swamp Thing because he is really a part of why this is one of the best series that it being published. The paneling of this issue if just amazing. He adds creativity where not many other artist do. The story is f...
