Jimmy reads a tablet and he's transported to Viking times, and rescues Thor, becoming his pal. But Loki isn't happy about this. Can Jimmy defeat him, knowing he's an ancestor of Mr. Mxyzptlk?

As time goes on, Jimmy is seen talking with gang members and the gang isn't where Superman thinks they are. Did Jimmy join their gang? And what does a horseshoe (with the power to repel objects) given to Jimmy have to do with this? Professor Potter doesn't appear in this story. A crook fakes the professor's identity by wearing a mask and using the professor's laboratory. Reprinted in Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen #113.

Jimmy gets an object repelling horseshoe from Professor Potter (or so he thinks that's who it is). Why will it prove to be bad luck for Superman, who is trying to catch a gang?
