    I’ve developed a mild obsession with finding little-known elseworlds or prestige format books from years ago that have been lost in the shuffle of modern comic marketing. Stories that really just damn well tell a story.I missed out on reading comics in the 90’s, and my history with the medium has been playing catchup with older titles.Case in point, Superman: War of the Worlds.     You know what to expect, and at the same time,... SURPRISE! 0

    Elseworlds: "War of the Worlds" was the Roy Thomas story. He's the best of the writers, so I was kinda excited. But when I got to it, I'm not gonna lie... I "picked up" this story and immediately dropped it, because the art style didn't seem that impressive. I mean, who are we kidding? It's a COMIC BOOK, and as such,the Visual aspect dominates all. But then I gave it a try, and... 1) the art is actually beautiful, not on account of pencils, but on account of COLOUR and inking. I mean look at ...
