    Superman Secret Origin Part 5 of 6 features Superman still helping out around the city.  Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen are taking photos and writing stories, respectively.  Lex Luthor is getting increasingly frustrated with the coverage of Superman, specifically the hope it's giving people.  John Corben makes an appearance at the Daily Planet.  Throughout the issue we see vintage Clark Kent knocking things over to cover an escape to make the change into Superman.  Parasite makes a cameo.  The main t...

       I've been reading this series since issue one and neither this one disappointed me.Of course the cover mislead the reader as we haven't seen much of Parasite only in one panel and Metallo's appearance was a bit different as he was in the robot suit and not with the kryptonite heart(yet).    I loved how John Corben was introduced as a military man, Lois' ex-boyfriend and a cold blooded killer. Clark wad really friendly with Corben although the latest didn't shared the same 'introduction mode'....

    COMICVINE'S TOP 100 SUPERMAN STORIES #22Superman Secret Origin is a modern re-telling of Superman's origin and early escapades. For those that missed the reviews of the first four issues, the miniseries began with a couple weak issues dealing with Superboy before getting very much better in issue 3.This issue still has a lot of what I liked in the past few issues. Artists Gary Frank (pencils), Jon Sibal (inks) and Brad Aderson (colors) use Christopher Reeves as the character model for Superman, ...
