      There are few teams that capture the essence of Superman like Geoff Johns and Gary Frank. Their great run on Action Comics should have been the inspiration for the Superman films if they wanted to continue in the tradition of the Donner style where Superman is a nice blend of epic film making with a heart.     God bless Gary Frank. I usually don't go on about artwork too much in my reviews but not gushing about it would be a crime. Gary Frank is drawing a love letter to the Christopher Reeve Superman with a modern twist and it could not look better. There are a number of splash pages that I literally gasped upon seeing. Retelling the origin of Superman with Geoff Johns seems like the job of a lifetime but Frank doesn't miss a beat. It's Clark's first day at the Daily Planet and times are tough for eve...
