Soon, the government's own anti-Kryptonian team sets out to dispatch the erupting conflict and the entire Superman family is affected.

    The Kryptonians whom were freed from the bottled city of Kandor have begun life side by side with the humans, and both sides are pretty much skeptical of the other. Humans from behind the scenes aren't the least bit happy about this and have already begun a strike. Supergirls parents whom she recently learned are alive and well urge her to return to the city of Kandor, completely forsaking this human life she's growing accustomed to.     The second volume of this Superman event New Krypton certainly gets things moving as we get a better understanding of where this story is heading. The triple threat writing team of Geoff Johns, James Robinson and Sterling Gates string together a One of the standout moments during this installment was the "Death In The House Of El" issue where the story takes a drastic turn.
