Stormwatch is forced to battle Helspont and his troops and they find the battle to be almost too much for the super hero team. Synergy is called to an assembly of her superiors to figure out what a backup plan would be if Stormwatch is to fail. Her superiors tell her that they are going to free the Warguard, even if they are psychotic and uncontrollable. Despot, the leader of the Warguard, takes his group and flee to the moon, instead of helping the world fight Helspont. Stormwatch gives chase to Helspont to the Dreadnought, the space ship that Helspont is trying to retrieve. Arriving there, they also find the WildC.A.T.S as well. Savant, Union and Mr. Majestic were already at the spot and have uncovered the Dreadnought, which is revealed to be the Kherubim space craft.
