Battalion has seen the future. He has seen friends fallen and knows that he himself is destined to die in the near future. How can a man go on knowing the dark future he has in store? Meanwhile, Talos, a member of the dangerous Warguard has escaped and it's up to StormWatch to stop him.
Battalion arrives from the future and writes down what he saw, including his death and the fate of Stormwatch. He is sent on a mission in Japan to apprehend Talos, of the Warguard, and to bring him back to Skywatch so they can place him back in cryogenic stasis. They find him attacking a Japanese company so he could steal vital software to create an army of robot soldiers. Stormwatch is able to defeat him and Battalion gains the resolve to live his life to the fullest and to change his own future.
