Sto- Oa is the personification of the sun of Oa. He is first seen in the palace of Mizar, where a cosmic parliament is taking place. There, Sto-Oa meets killalla of the glow, an ancestor of the oans, and the lover of Dream of the Endless. During the course of the event the two fall in love, possibly due to the machinations of Desire of the Endless. However they are caught by Dream. Upon learning that Dream and her brethren were not simply aliens but the spiritual representations of the universe, Killalla flees in terror into the arms of Sto-Oa and he takes her into his embrace. Sto-Oa translates Killalla in to his center to burn in the heart of the star and comfort him through the long nights.
