    Short summary describing this issue.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

The main Marvel Universe and THE NEGATIVE ZONE have become ONE in a nightmarish merge! This spells doom for all of Earth’s heroes!

Blastaar creats a gap in the space-time-continuum, which links the Negative Zone and our good ol' universe 616. Spider-Man is the first hero to notice that gap and has to stop Blastaars conquer. While SHOC keeps the gap open, Spider-Man runs into a civil war in the Negative Zone. He gains a strange black costume from the dying rebel's leader and can now create the identity of Dusk. By using its hidden powers and his own intelligence Spidey then knocks out Blastaar and returns to home.

Well, now he had to fulfil the mission to find the real Dusk, but that was ignored in following issues.

It's not news that stories during this decade are mediocre and boring, and this one proves to be no exception. The plot is convoluted and confusing, and it almost feels like an excuse to give Spidey two new costumes (toy merchandising reasons, I'm guessing). SHOC's appearance serves no real purpose other than a given cameo. And what's with this "Dusk" character and the so-called rebellion sub-plot? It's...
