    Starting in 2003 Sparkplug Comic Books is an independent publisher based in Portland, Oregon that publishes avant garde, non-main stream comics that are nothing like anything published by Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, or Image.

    Almost all of their comics are written and drawn by one creator expressing their unique vision.

    They are also the current publisher of Steve Ditko.
