Snow Queen was selected to be a New Men when High Evolutionary brought her sister White Tiger back to her family. She accompanied him back to Wundagore and was placed as a guard.
One day; Beast arrived at the mountain seeking answers for his question about the mutant gene. As she had orders to let no one pass, she threatened him and his companions with death. Beast didn't take no for an answer, and insulted her by saying that her sister, White Tiger, would rather bite off her own tongue before attacking unarmed men. Enraged Snow Queen attacked Beast. They fought quite a while, before High Evolutionary broke them up and wanted to see Beast; she then escorted him to her master. Having had a talk with High Evolutionary, Beast left Wundagore Mountain and left Snow Queen to her solitary duty.
