    Right Idea, Wrong Tone 0

    I nearly passed this issue up, because it came out the same day as another Secret Warriors, and do you really need to buy two Secret Warriors books on the same day?  But I decided I also didn't really need to save $2.99 that badly, so what the hell.  And despite the Secret Warriors tag, this book is very clearly just about one Secret Warrior, Phobos, and his reaction to the death of his father at the hands of the Sentry during the events of Siege.  The story begins in a very thoughtful way, as P...

      Siege: Secret WarriorsAfter the death of Ares in Siege #1, if that's a spoiler to you I don't know where you've been hiding, I was waiting to see what the fallout would be in terms of Phobos’ reaction. For those not familiar with Phobos, aka. The God of Fear, he’s Ares son and a member of Nick Fury’s covert team The Secret Warriors. Fury left Phobos behind when his team joined in the Battle for Asgard. Well in this issue I finally got what I was waiting for and it was not at all what I expecte...

    Phobos vs Head of State 0

     SIEGE: Secret WarriorsPhobos, God of Fear vs. Barack Hussein Obama, Mortal Head of State. That there should be enough of a review to capture anybodies attention and get them to pick up this book, but I’ll give a couple more reasons.With all of the Siege tie-ins being hit or miss thus far, not really adding to much to the story, rehashing, and being told out of order.
