Collecting stories from the late 1950s starring this charter member of the Justice League of America! Adopting the Earthly identity of Police Detective John Jones, the super-hero known as the Martian Manhunter uses his incredible strength, shape-shifting abilities and other powers to combat crime!

    Contains: Detective Comics (vol. 1) #225-304 & Batman (vol. 1) #78

Note: The Detective Comics collected are not full issues and only contains the 6-7 page and later 12 page back up stories printed in Detective Comics up until the early nineties. The first of the three stories in Batman #78 "Manhunter From Mars", opens the book, with no actual appearance by the Martian Manhunter. It is there as a callback as the inspiration for the characters creation 2 years later by Joseph Samachson and Joe Certa.
