    S.H.I.E.L.D. » S.H.I.E.L.D. #4 - Chapter Four: All Together Now released by Marvel on February 1, 2012.

    Short summary describing this issue.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

The Immortal City has been destroyed and Issac Newton is on the lam. Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Nostradamus and the Eternal Dynamo need to make an impossible journey to stop him.

Tesla, Stark and Richards travel to the Zargos mountains to find the life-support pods where the three men of the Last Caliphate are in suspended animation. They are the embodiment of branching time and will travel with the others to the future. All except Leonardo get into position inside the Human Machine. Leonardo is the anchor, the sacrifice, the builder. As they travel we see episodes from Marvel history: SHIELD and Nick Fury, the X-Men, the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the discovery of Captain America, the death of Jean Grey, the second generation of X-Men, Spider-Man, Magneto and the Kree-Skrull war. We also see the future, the ‘Days of Future Past’ reality, Hope Summers, Valeria Richards and the Ultron war future as seen in the Avengers.

2060: We see three versions of the future, where events happen in the same way but with a different environment: Paradise, the Height of Modernity and the End of the World. In all three, Tesla flies up to a tower and is blasted by Newton. In all three, Newton and the Celestial battle the others while Michelangelo prepares the Human Machine for its final task.
