On Devil Island, after learning that the woman Deadshot killed was just a slave trying to escape the Secret Six get in a brief standoff with Mr. Smyth, Emil and Giuana that is finally broken up by Deadshot himself.
The team then goes back with Mr. Smyth to his quaters where they learn that Mr. Smyth plans on bringing slavery back to the civilized world, and that he is using slave labor to build the world's largest prison on Devil's Island.
Meanwhile, Artemis is taken to her cell and almost raped by her guards but the warren shows up and dismisses them. The warden tries to convince Artemis he means her no harm but Artemis want to hear none of it.
Later that night, Jeannette sneaks out of her room and tries to free Artemis, but the rest of the Secret Six show-up. After brief word the team members choose sides. Jeannette, Bane and Scandal Savage what to free Artemis and the other Amanzon imprisoned on the island. While Deadshot, Catman and Ragdoll believe they should obey the contract with Mr. Smyth. A fight breaks out but is ended quickly when Wonder Woman arrives and asks who killed Arteims.
