Scar

History

 Little is known about Scar's past, a loyal and tenacious agent of SYSTEM, a malevolent global conspiracy. More specifically, Scar was part of the Amber Cell of SYSTEM, which operated out of the Garden Station, a base beneath the city of Dakota. In recent years, SYSTEM: Amber was focused on capturing and experimenting on "Bang Babies", the superhuman survivors of the Big Bang. Scar took a sadistic glee in hunting down Bang Babies, an attitude that often chased with more compassionate superior officer, Sgt. Rose. Scar felt Rose's emotions made him weak and a liability to SYSTEM: Amber though he never told the sergeant this to his face. Amber Leader Mom believed the captive Bang Babies could serve as lethal living weapons obedient to SYSTEM with the proper mental conditioning and enhancements. The final step of the process was to increase the Babies' powers by them exposing to a second, concentrated dose of quantum juice, the mutagenic gas released at the Bang. However, the procedure was interrupted by Sgt. Rose, who finally listened to his conscience  and went on a shooting rampage to free the Bang Babies. Scar tried to thwart Rose and was mortally wounded for his efforts. After Rose released the Bang Babies, the shook off the SYSTEM mind control and escaped Garden Station with their rescuer. During the breakout, Rose's gunfire accidentally punctured tanks containing quantum juice, which filled the lab and forced Mom and other SYSTEM personal to flee. The dying Scar was left behind and was enveloped by the bizzare gas. When he awoke, Scar realized that he had somehow merged with the lab equipment and was now a bio-mechanical Bang Baby. He then learned that, because of the Bang Baby deacle, Mom had been stripped of command of SYSTEM: Amber, which was absorbed into the more powerful SYSTEM: Ebon. Still, Ebon leader Grandmother appreciated that Scar's survival and transforming meant the Mom's experiment was not a complete loss. So, she appointed Scar as a special operative of SYSTEM: Ebon, who would be deployed as a weapon of last resort against high-level threats of SYSTEM. 
 Scar's first mission was to completely earse all equipment and personal connected to "Operation Revolving Door." A top secret SYSTEM project in Montana, the goal of "Revolving Door" was to use a captured Bang Babies named Elizabeth Brown to power an interdimensional portal. SYSTEM planned to use the portal to conquer other other universes. But, on their first test, SYSTEM scientists opened the portal to the realm of the warlike K'Lumnii, who promptly slaughtered the trespassers and then began to invade Earth in retaliation. Scar understood the seriousness of the threat to SYSTEM if Revolving Door wasn't destroyed. Upon arriving at the base, he beheld a battled between K'lumnii warriors and Heroes, a superhero team trying to shut down the portal without killing Brown. Lacking such moral qualms, Scar tried to destroy the portal anyway and was promptly attacked by both parties. Though outnumbered, Scar proved than a match for his opponents until Starlight teleported herself and the SYSTEM agent to a deserted location. There, she unleased her full electromagnetic fury against Scar, who was left seriously injured. Starlight then returned to the SYSTEM base, where she helped the high-tech vigilante Hardware safely free Johnson from the portal from the portal generator. As for Scar, he was retrieved by Iron Butterfly of the Shadow Cabinet, another covert organization now aligned with SYSTEM. Presumably, Scar is recovering from his wounds and eagerly waiting chance to exact revenge on Heroes.
 

Powers & Skills

 Scar has a range of superhuman powers derived from his biomechanical form. He posses enormus physical stregth that is greater than Heroes' Payback. Scar is also highly resistant to injury though he is quite vulnerable to Starlight's electromagnetic energy blasts. His body is covered with spikes and blades of various sizes that he can employ as weapons capable of tearing through reinforced concerte and solid steel. His body can somehow generate intese energy that he can employ different effects. He can channel this energy through his armored skin as a dealy electrical charge. Hence, with a simple touch, Scar can seriously injure or even kill all but the toughest superhuman beings. He can also project his body energues from his hands as incredibly destructive blasts. Scar may posses other superman abilities as yet unrevealed. Even as a human being, Scar was a dangerous opponent, who was skilled in hand-to-hand combat and marksmanship.
