    Saga #1 was a great issue. It set a lot up even to point it was a little overwhelming. Keep in mind you need to learn about a whole new universe and the main players. I was honesty a little concerned about the second issue and what it had to live up to.Brian K. Vaughan has mention before that it took him a long, long time to write the first issue of Y: The Last Man. The first issue of a comic has to set up the tone and the basic story for the entire series not to mention that the comic book indu...

    It’s been a long time since I was this invested in a new world, right off the bat. Issue #1 of Saga introduced us to this space opera setting, torn by war, with a variety of imaginative and colorful concepts and ideas, and issue #2 continues that trend, leaving the reader eager to turn each page to see what wonders await. I wouldn’t say Saga is revolutionary, it’s just very very very well done. The medium is not being used in any new ways, but the original ideas and fantastic setting make it fee...

    I wasn't sure if Brian K. Vaughan would disappoint with issue #`2. Too often I've come across the rare good issue #1 that failed to deliver on the rest of the series. Saga #2, however, continues with the same great sense of humor. The characters all seem to speak like normal people even when they're in the most abnormal of circumstances. BKV also continues to humorously mash up our world with his sci-fi/fantasy world. Case in point: assassin's have agents. All too often we have assassin's in wor...
