Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Trapped in a galactic dumpster on the Moon for ten thousand years. Once Rita Repulsa escapes, she makes the siege of planet Earth her primary goal. She is famous galactic sorceress and master of evil magic. When the wizard Zordon learns of her escape, he creates the team of the Power Rangers to defeat her.

Her first known attack towards the little blue planet was an earthquake, this attack takes place shortly before the Rangers reluctantly receive their Morphers. She also typically employs the use of mindless minions she creates from some unknown clay like substance, which she calls Putties. She also employs the use of Giant Kaiju monsters, which forces the Rangers, to use their Giant Mechs known as Zords.

Rita later uses the green power coin, to control the Green Power Ranger. Her controlling the Green Ranger still holds up today as one of the Ranger's most harrowing and deadly threats. Although, the Rangers manage to break Rita's hold on the Green Ranger and allow him to become a hero, Rita uses the Green Candle that once it burns out will return all of the Green Rangers power to her, thus limiting the appearances of the Green Ranger It was not long after this she began to be able to use Super Putties.

Later she kidnaps the Rangers parents, and puts up a ransom for the teams power coins. She also during this time takes control of the Blue Power Ranger and forces him to steal the Dragon Dagger originally introduced by the Green Ranger and given to the Red Ranger. Rita sends Goldar to make the exchange. the Rangers all give over there coins to Goldar and Rita, who do not stick to their end of the bargain. However the Red Ranger reveals that he still has the Dragon Coin which is the source of the Green Rangers power, they use this to summon him, and then fuse his powers with Zordan's in order to defeat Rita and retrieve their coins and Parents. He succeeds in retrieving not only the power coins and parents but he also gets the Dragon Dagger back.

After failing on numerous occasions to defeat the Power Rangers and take control of Earth, Lord Zedd arrives at her Moon Palace and overthrows her as its leader, magically changing her into the size of an action figure and seals her away into her Galactic Dumpster and sends her out into the depths of space. Some time later she eventually drifts back into the Moon's atmosphere and returns to the Palace. Alongside Finster, one of her servants, she successfully gives Zedd a love potion and they become married while under its affects.

Power Rangers: Mystic Force

Rita Repulsa reappears in the form of Mystic Mother, the Empress of all Good Magic, the leader of the Mystics and the most powerful good magical being.

Mystic Mother appears in the final episodes dwelling in her palace before being interrupted by Snow Prince warning her of Octomus and to flee.

Refusing to leave, Mystic Mother is confronted by Octomus whom was able to resist her strongest spell. She tries to escape, transporting Snow Prince away just in time before she got consumed, leaving her palace in ruins.

Though she is believed to be eliminated, it is revealed she survived the attack by becoming magical essence. Mystic Mother grants Clare greater sorceress powers and reminds the Mystic Force Power Rangers that they can never be without magic in the final battle.

Rita: What? The Power Rangers? Ah, Ah, Ah! If I knew that, do you think I would be lying here listening to this? (Lord Zedd snoring). My advice to you divatox: RUUUN!

Mighty Morphing Power Rangers: The Movie (1995)

Rita Repulsa makes her first big-screen appears in the 1995 as a minor antagonist. Rita, alongside Lord Zedd awoke the villain Ivan Ooze from his slumber so that he could wreak havoc in Angel Grove, only for the two to be locked away in a snowglobe by Ivan after hearing about their numerous failures against the Power Rangers. Unlike her original televsion appearances where she was portrayed by Japanese actress Machiko Soga, her film appearance was played by Julia Cortez and voiced by Barbara Goodson (who also did the voice for Rita in the television show).

Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie (1997)

Rita Repulsa makes a cameo appearance in the 1997 movie after being called by the film's main antagonist, Divatox; who asks for advice against the Power Rangers. Repulsa is portrayed by Carla Perez and once againt voiced by Barbara Goodson.

Power Rangers (2017)

Rita Repulsa makes an appearance as the main antagonist of the 2017 film. Portrayed by Elizabeth Banks. Repulsa was once the original Green Power Ranger working alongside Zordon before she turned against him and their team, killing all but Zordon himself. After being sent into the depths of the Earth's ocean's by the combined might of Zordon and Alpha 5. she resurfaced millions of years later with a vengeance.

Power Rangers: Legacy Wars (2017)

Rita Repulsa makes two appearances as playable and as support characters in the mobile game.

Rita made her first appearance on March 3rd, 2017 as her Power Rangers character. This version of Rita is a legendary attack type leader and epic type support.

Game Bio: Rita Repulsa is the ultimate villain – calculating, smart and dangerous. She is single-minded in her goal, and will destroy everything in her path to meet it.

She then again made her second appearance on June 26, 2017 as her Mighty Morphin Power Rangers character who is a epic balance type leader and support character.

Game Bio: A powerful evil sorceress, Rita Repulsa was imprisoned by Zordon in a space dumpster for ten thousand years. Now free, she’s determined to take over Earth, but finds herself time and time again foiled by the Power Rangers. Rita is relentless in her quest for control of the Earth, now spending most of her time dreaming up new ways to strip the Power Rangers of their powers.

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid (2019)

Rita Repulsa was released as part of the Season Four DLC pass in December 2021.

From her lunar base, the Moon Palace, Rita surveils the planet and hatches schemes with Lord Zedd, her partner in villainy and romance.
