    For one day in rural central Wisconsin, the dead came back to life. Now it's up to Officer Dana Cypress to deal with the media scrutiny, religious zealots, and government quarantine that has come with them. In a town where the living have to learn to deal with those who are supposed to be dead, Officer Cypress must solve a brutal murder, and everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect.     I'm writing a short review of this since apparently no one else on ComicVine has noticed this book. The first issue was awesome! With Sweet Tooth wrapping up soon, this may be my next favorite independent horror / supernatural book. If you aren't familiar at all, the story is about a small town where suddenly the dead come back to life. But they aren't zombies or monsters, they go back to regular life and act... normal. Maybe.     Highly Recommended!To say that Image has been cranking out really great comics lately is the understatement of the year. I have even said, that if I had to drop all but one publisher, I would likely choose Image. They publish my favorite comics of all time: Chew, Creator-Owned Heroes, Saga, Fatale, Manhattan Projects… oh, and those all-time fan favorites: Walking Dead and Invincible. Seriously.     After reading issues one through to 29 in one go, it is a very captivating Tale. each issue may take its time to tell the story but by the end of each issue you are drawn to the first few pages of the next, now I have to wait a month or so imbetween each issue I have the options to go back and re-read this lovely tale of Life, undeath, rural peoples and out of towners all thrown together into a group that you actually care about (and sometimes empathise with).
