Tiger Shark and Tamara Rahn, the Banari woman who became Tiger Shark's lover, went to live quietly in the Sargasso Sea when they were approached by Remora. He asked Tiger Shark is he would protect him and the People of the Mist, a group of Atlanteans supposedly living in the Sargasso Sea, and Tiger Shark agreed.

Remora would tell Tiger Shark when trouble came to the Sargasso Sea and then would hope for scraps of meat from whomever got killed in the battle. He told Tiger Shark about the Inhuman Triton fighting Trieste and her Banari forces. He then watched Tiger Shark, Tamara, Trieste and the Banari battle Namor.

    Creation

Remora was created by Glenn Herdling and Geof Isherwood in 1994 and first appeared in Namor, the Sub-Mariner # 46.

    Story Arcs

Remora's next chance for food was when he spied Llyra and Llyron heading towards Atlantis with ill intent. He alerted Tiger Shark who agreed to see what was going on with Tamara by his side. When Llyra and Llyron started to best his meal ticket, he went to Aquaria (Namor's base) to get help from the Sub-Mariner, Andromeda, and Stingray

Remora was the only member of the People of the Mist seen. It is unknown if they all scavenge carcasses for food or if others even exist with Remora making them up.
