    Artemis is the queen of an unnamed planet of vast magical wealth. Her and her people mate for life and she has been waiting her perfect mate for centuries.

    Queen Artemis has been captured by Hieronymous the Under-Achiever, and his demons, and but in her own dungeon until she translated the Kinda-sort-of-Book of Destiny for him. Artemis refuses and Hieronymous beats her up and threatens to destroy her planet with the Planet Pounder.

    Luckily, Booster Gold, Ted Kord, Mr. Miracle and Big Barda come to the rescue, and Hieronymous needs to flee. Booster, Miracle and Barda fly into space to stop the Planet Pounder and leave Ted with Artemis.

    Somehow Ted woos the queen, mostly through lies, and she sleeps with him within a half-hour after meeting him, but she soon learns that Ted just used her for sex. She then turns him into a chipmunk and when Booster comes back to find Ted, she turns him over the Darkstars, claiming he was working with Hieronymous and helped steal the Planet Pounder.
