    Welcome Back, Frank is a twelve issue series about Castle's return to New York City. His main goal is to take down the Gnucci crime family. Along the way he grows to like his neighbors, teaches Daredevil a lesson, faces numerous assassins hired by the Gnuccis and deals with three dangerous vigilantes.

    Collects The Punisher #1-12 (2000).

    The Story: The Punisher returns to New York and is focused on bringing down the Gnucci crime family. While pursuing his goal, his neighbors get mixed up in his problems and he runs into Daredevil.  My Thoughts:This is hands down my favorite Punisher story I've ever read. Now I haven't yet had the opportunity of reading the Punisher MAX series which I hear is incredible. Garth Ennis delivers a knockout story which inspired the 2004 film.
