Elvis helps out the Lodge with a bit of building work and is visited by the Dover Demon who makes two predictions. One of them immediately comes to pass, but the other remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, Colonel Dachsund, a big game hunter who enjoys the wholesale slaughter and devouring of cryptids, sets a trap for Proof by luring him out to Africa to save an endangered baby dinosaur whose parents were slaughtered and devoured. A huge banquet for his guests is planned with Proof as the main course.
