Sandahl Swarn was working for The Company on experiments to create perfect agents using mind and body-altering substances. One day, her lover, Randall Spector, returned from a mercenary mission in the Middle East bearing some strange papyrus documents. When she found out what the documents meant, she and her branch went rogue, taking much of their equipment with them, and joined the Cult of Khonshu. She took the name Princess Nepthys (after the Egyptian Goddess Nephthys) and set a plan in motion to make Randall the true avatar of Khonshu. Using her Lunar Absorbers, she was able to give Randall bulletproof skin.
