Origin
A descendant of the people of the Space Between, Peter Keele was raised in a relatively nonmagical dimension. He was very informed about his abilities and the Space Between, knowledge which was probably passed down from his grandmother. A writer by trade, he had two children, Fig and Strawberry, and was particularly close with Fig. He abandoned the family when she was a young girl, ostensibly to protect her from the Space Between and those who would try to hunt her.
Creation
Peter Keele was created by Lilah Sturges and Luca Rossi. He made his first appearance in House of Mystery #5.
Major Story Arcs
House of Mystery
Peter joins forces with the Pair of the Conception to attempt to lure Fig out of the House of Mystery, but she rejects him. Finding his way in through the basement, he again encounters Fig. He tries to drag her out of the House and into their home dimension, but she resists and he becomes trapped in the House. He reveals some secrets about the House and the Space Between, but Fig is resistant to his knowledge. He gets into a fight with Harry, and accidentally transports them both to the Goblin Market. He reveals that Harry is actually the House. When the House comes under attack by the Thinking Man's Army, he tries to dissuade Fig from transporting them to the City in the Space Between, but she ignores him, trapping them all. He convinces her to travel with him to the Pathfinder Academy, and learns that the only way out of the Space Between is with blood. He tries to kill Jordan, but is stopped by Fig, and abandoned in the Space Between. He is approached by Keele, his grandfather, who kills him in order to get them out of the Space Between. He acquires a new body in Hell, and they travel with Harry to the Conception homeworld, trying to save Fig. He is captured by the Conception, and executed.
Powers and Abilities
Peter is able to fold" or "cross," allowing him to move between various dimensions and times at will. He is quite intelligent, and noted for being manipulative and a skilled liar.
