    The Good: This is the kind of series Keith Giffen's art is great for. Lots of smashing good fun, with a real emphasis on the level of destruction. Even the ridiculously simple panel layout is less noticeable. It's still there, but it actually works surprisingly well. I'm so happy the issue titles are continuing the acronym trend. This series manages to feel like a throwback without feeling old.  Some of the shadier parts of the DCU are being expanded here. Checkmate shows up (explained perfectly...

    This issue unfortunately does nothing to make up for the failings of the first issue and instead perpetuates them.  And again it is not that I don't like the story and concept here, just I feel as though with incorporating in too many homages that it detracts from the overall feel of the comic.  Here we have Kevin as he wakes up from his O.M.A.C. haze in the middle of nowhere and from where he has to make his way into any place where he can find some transportation.  He finds out that Brother Ey...
