    Deathlok the Demolisher

Nina was the girlfriend of Simon Ryker, and was present for the final stages of Deathlok's creation. When Deathlok escaped soon after, she walked in on Ryker maintaining his own cybernetics, discovering his inhuman nature. Ryker, with some regret, imprisoned Nina to prevent her from telling anyone else.

However, as Ryker decended into madness, whtever affection he had for Nina was warped. He decided to give her the gift of machine life; connecting her brain to his Omni-Computer. From there, her brainwaves were used to guide Ryker's Death-Machine in an attempt to kill Deathlok.

The Death-Machine was destroyed by Deathlok and Nina was rescued by Mike Travers soon afterward. Nina was left comatose initially, but regained consciousness, now mute. Her connection to Ryker's computer would prove useful when the U.S. government set about disassembling Ryker's operations.

    Powers and Abilities

Initially Nina had no special abilities or talents.

After being forcibly connected to Ryker's Omni-Computer, her intellect could give the Death-Machine a level of creative thinking and adaptability, though its diectives were issued by Ryker.
