The oilfields of a small Persian Gulf kingdom, an irresistible target for terrorists. SAS Sergeant Nick Stone on detachment to the gulf kingdom to defend its oil discovers a nuke while stopping a terrorist attack. With ten seconds on the clock, Nick resigns himself to his fate and is present at ground zero when the bomb goes off.

But he does not die. Nick wakes up to find himself in a strange new world where animals can walk and talk like humans, in a deadly war against the humans. Which side will Nick take?
