The Ancient One Throws Down! last edited by ghostgrifter on 05/18/21 04:29AM View full history

With reality under furious attack by arcane power far beyond anything anyone on Earth has ever dealt with before, the Avengers have to start getting creative or forfeit all that we know. The rules of magic and mysticism in the Marvel Universe are about to change in a gigantic way and it's all going to happen here! All this plus a brand new chapter in the oral history of the Avengers.

The New Avengers battle demons in the streets of New York. Doctor Strange watches from Voodoo's Sanctum in New Orleans as Ms Marvel flies in to the dimensional tear and he teleports to rescue her when she is blasted out of the sky. Suddenly the sky tear repairs itself and Iron Fist falls to the ground. His suit is now white and gold and he punches Doctor Strange in the face, blaming him for the problems of the demon invasion. He demands to know to whom the Eye of Agamotto truly belongs.

I also like how Luke, wolverine, and Ms Marvel are trying to help   Review I like how it starts out that spidey points out the obvious and makes it funny. Then it gose to damion, Dr. Strange, and Dr. Voodoo trying to figure out who is doing this. Dr. Voodoo then opens a portal to see whats happening in new york and they see it's all going to hell in a hand basket. Luke gets overpowered by deamon and just when we thinks its the ...

The Story - After a nearly endless battle with spawns from another dimension, the New Avengers cacthes a break with Iron Fist´s return (as a White Lantern??), who´s blaming Strange for all of this mess and appears to be on Ancient One´s side. The Good - In a short comment, only Immonen´s art is responsible for me buying this book, and even his art is not going to be a reason strong enough if this series doesn´t shift 180º. The cover was beautiful. Jessica acting as a heroine was ok too. The Baa...
