    Mr. Regal was eventually able to both reconcile with his son and keep said son out of prison. He felt gratitude for the X-Men, since they stopped Mekano from actually hurting anybody. While Jean Grey had prevented Mekano from getting himself killed.  
     
    Regal was grateful enough to pay for five tickets to Central Europe. The tickets which allowed the X-Men to go fight Factor Three.
