Scott Free and Big Barda have to deal with unexpected trouble after opening their repair shop.

[Note: issue 6 is primarily a fill-in issue. The editor is quick to point out that while Oberon was mysteriously kidnapped in issue 5, he will return to that status for issue 7.]

After inadvertently transmuting bread into gold with a Motherbox enhanced toaster, Scott and Oberon find their new fix-it shop the victim of a gang of local extortionists. To punctuate their message, the "insurance salesmen" send an associate by the name of Willie to intimidate Barda.

Willie's condition is unknown, but he is no longer able to continue in his function as an enforcer.

Oberon calls the JLI. Rather than any members of the usual roster, G'nort is sent in order to take advantage of his relative obscurity. The combination of G'norts skill with the Power Ring and his ability to be unbelievably annoying convinces the extortionists to abandon Bailey as a potential business prospect.
